Mollendo Celebrates Success at the 2026 World Steak Challenge

We are delighted to share that Mollendo has achieved outstanding results at the 2026 World Steak Challenge, securing five medals and earning the title of World's Best Grain-Fed Sirloin.

The World Steak Challenge is one of the leading international competitions for beef, bringing together producers from around the world. Entries are judged independently, with steaks assessed on factors including appearance, marbling, tenderness, texture, flavour and overall eating quality.

This year's results represent a significant achievement for Mollendo, with awards across both its Wagyu and grain-fed Angus ranges.

Alongside being named World's Best Grain-Fed Sirloin, they were awarded:

· Gold Medal: Wagyu Sirloin

· Silver Medal: Wagyu Fillet

· Silver Medal: Angus Sirloin

· Bronze Medal: Angus Fillet

These results build on success at the 2025 World Steak Challenge, where its Wagyu Ribeye and Wagyu Fillet were both awarded Gold Medals.

Based in the foothills of the Andes, Mollendo has built a strong reputation for producing exceptional Wagyu and Angus beef. Cattle are raised in southern Chile, where fresh
